Como Iglesia Pentecostal Dimensi\u00f3n de Fe en IADLA y desde todas nuestras construcciones territoriales, conmemoramos este 7 de julio al querido compa\u00f1ero y hermano en la fe Patricio Rice en un aniversario m\u00e1s de su fallecimiento.<\/p>\n

Recordarle cada a\u00f1o, con su sonrisa, su alegr\u00eda contagiosa, su coraje admirable nos reconforta el alma y nos anima a continuar su lucha por la defensa de los Derechos Humanos.<\/p>\n

De aquel compa\u00f1ero irland\u00e9s, que lleg\u00f3 a la Argentina y que en 1972 \u00a0se sum\u00f3 a la Fraternidad Hermanos del Evangelio Charles de Foucauld recordamos siempre su ejercicio pastoral, abocado al pueblo m\u00e1s empobrecido, despojado de derechos y con hambre de justicia.<\/p>\n

Como tantxs otrxs compa\u00f1erxs y hermanxs comprometidos con la lucha por la vida, fue v\u00edctima del terrorismo de Estado argentino en octubre de 1976. Le fue prohibido oficiar misas y utilizar la vestimenta clerical, en claro gesto de amedrentamiento por parte de las autoridades de la Iglesia Cat\u00f3lica, instituci\u00f3n a la que renunciar\u00eda a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Son innumerables las ocasiones en que lo escuchamos levantar la voz denunciando injusticias, se\u00f1alando a los responsables y exigiendo Memoria, Verdad y Justicia.<\/p>\n

Fundador de FEDEFAM (Federaci\u00f3n Latinoamericana de Asociaciones de Familiares de Detenidos) y miembro del CELS (Centro de Estudios Legales y Sociales), su lucha, de la mano de su compa\u00f1era de vida, F\u00e1tima Cabrera, llega hasta nuestros d\u00edas y nos anima a no claudicar, a seguir andando nom\u00e1s.<\/p>\n
